Profile Summary

Katerina achieved First Class Honours and is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and an Accredited Nutritionist, as recognised by the Dietitian's Association of Australia. From 2013-2016, Katerina was also an Accredited Sports Dietitian as recognised by Sports Dietitians Australia.She is currently working as a consultant dietitian for Nutrition Care Services and holds a keen interest in clinical nutrition, especially in the area of chronic lifestyle diseases such as obesity and diabetes. She is currently servicing 9 medical centres in Greater and South Western Sydney as well as conducting home visits for DVA patients in Western Sydney and Canberra. In the past, she has also presented for the Cancer Council's ENRICH program.Katerina has a passion for sports nutrition and this is reflected in her previous experience as club dietitian for the Penrith District Rugby League Club, an exciting and challenging position which was offered to her post work experience which she undertook as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Toyota Cup (20s) squad. This position allowed her to work with many young athletes by incorporating her knowledge of nutrition, exercise science and other areas such as anthropometry, training periodisation and small group education to assist in individual goal-setting and the practical achievement of these health and performance related goals.
