Profile Summary

Stephen completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy, followed by Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney in 2014. He went on to complete his internship and residency at Westmead hospital. He also worked as an anatomy tutor for the University of Sydney and mentored medical students. He further trained later at Westmead Children’s hospital, working in Emergency and General Paediatrics.
Stephen’s areas of interest include Paediatrics and general medicine (cardiology, respiratory, gastroenterology, palliative care). He has completed a diploma of child health and ‘anatomy by whole body dissection course’. He has a close working relationship with local specialists, regularly attends meetings and liaises with teams from the children's hospital Westmead to manage his more complex paediatric patients.
Stephen is passionate about promoting preventative care (smoking cessation, weight loss), health education and patient advocacy (Workcover, mental health). He values above all else the ongoing relationships that he develops with his patients.
